Basic/Standard Warranty

The standard warranty provides basic coverage for defects found in Lexus parts and routine maintenance that needs to be completed before the recommended interval. If you need wheel balancing or alignment during the 12-months or 12,000-miles coverage period, it’s covered. If any parts require replacement during 48 months or 50,000 miles, that’s covered too.

Powertrain Warranty

The powertrain warranty covers the engine, transmission, transaxle, torque converter, engine control computer, driveshaft, hub, seals, bearings, and gaskets for 72 months or 70,000 miles. Coverage is available for front-wheel, rear-wheel, and all-wheel-drive systems.

Hybrid Warranty

Hybrid vehicles have batteries and combustion engines working together for drive power. The Lexus hybrid warranty covers the battery control module, inverter, and converter for 10 years or 150,000 miles.

Rust Warranty

The corrosion perforation warranty protects against auto body rust for 72 months. This includes replacing original body panels with perforation due to rust corrosion.

Parts & Accessory Warranties

The Lexus parts warranty covers parts for 12 months regardless of miles. Accessory warranty coverage is also available for 48 months or 50,000 miles.

Guaranteed Auto Protection

Lexus offers other warranty options that extend the basic warranty provisions for greater coverage. Guaranteed auto protection (GAP coverage) is an excellent strategy to protect against total loss, which is always a good plan for financed vehicles.

Excess Wear & Use Coverage

Excess wear/use coverage offers a flexible way to protect against body dents, torn seats, and more! This is an excellent way to prevent paying for dents and dings when turning in your leased Lexus.
